Front Desk Functions
When a guest arrives at the front desk, the receptionist the grades the guest and asks whether he has made a reservation or not. After registration, the receptionist tells the guest his room number and the floor it is on. Then he gives the guest his room card and the key card. The room card has the function of being the identity card for the guest during his stay. Finally, the receptionist should wish guest an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The third section is the information desk, where the guests can inquire information or make local travel arrangements. And the fourth section is the cashier’s desk, where guests can not only pay the bill and check out, but also cash checks and exchange foreign currency.
